#THE RETURN OF THE SHADOW SERIES#
Sabé has recently made a return to the Star Wars universe after the events of Empire Strikes Back, as seen in the recent Darth Vader comics series from writer Greg Pak. While under an unlawful occupation by the Trade Federation, Queen Amidala managed to liberate her home world thanks to the aid of two Jedi Knights, and a young slave boy from the desert planet of Tatooine, as seen in the first episode of the Skywalker Saga, The Phantom Menace. However, fans know that her story doesn't end there by a long shot, but neither does it end for her loyal handmaidens, especially for her primary and most trusted handmaiden, Sabé, the Queen's Shadow.
